My Day: Monday, September 5, 2022

I guess it was a pretty good day yesterday.
I went to Hobby Lobby to get some yarn for a blanket that I will be making for my oldest grandson. I also stopped at Best Buy so that I could get a mouse pad and a stylus to use on my phone. They were out of the stylus that I like to use. Then, I went to Pet Smart and got a bag of puppy pads and a bag of cat food.
I crocheted on a scarf that I started on Sunday. I am using the star stitch. I watched a few videos about the stitch so that I could learn how to do it. Then I started working on a swatch so that I could practice the stitch before I started on a project with that stitch.
To take a break from working on the scarf, I started on my grandson's blanket. I will be using blue, slate blue, and cranberry for the colors.
With yesterday being a holiday, I was surprised at the amount of traffic there was. I figured it would be more like a Sunday drive. LoL

There wasn't a lot of traffic when my daughter and I had to go to Walmart yesterday but the store was crowded, though.
At least you found things to do.

When I got to Hobby Lobby, I was surprised at the number of cars in the lot. I figured it wouldn't be as busy there with it being a holiday. Boy, was I surprised! LoL

My husband and I were surprised, too. We went to the store this morning before our vet appointment. He told me the parking lot was unusually packed. I guess there was a lot people needed to do today.

That is what I did notice that the traffic in my neighborhood, it looked like Sunday with few autos passing by the home.
