Star Stitch Scarf

A few days ago, I watched a video about how to crochet the star stitch.
I made a swatch so that I could practice the stitch before using it in a
project. I noticed that the ends were not very neat. I watched another
video and liked how the ends were straighter than mine. So, I practiced
on another swatch and liked the result much better than the first swatch.
I got out my Ultra Alpaca yarn and wound it into a cake and got started
on making a scarf using the star stich. I am really liking how it is looking
and the color is perfect for the season coming up.

I've never heard of the star stitch before but I do like that pattern. I normally use a single or double crochet and make my items using one or the other of those stitches.

It took a lot of patience while practicing the stitch. This video helped me to get good results:

It takes extra work to make this stitch but it is worth it.
