Belated birthday supper

I cooked a nice dinner tonight for our son Robert's birthday which was last week.
He and Dale played golf this afternoon and our grandson Nathan came to eat, also.
I fixed a pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, gravy, fried okra, deviled eggs, garlic bread, sweet tea, and a pecan pie.
Robert blew out candles on the pie, lol, but he liked that better than a cake. Opened our gift, visited a while, then he headed home and Nathan drove back to his dorm.
It was a nice celebration, but it wore me out. But it was worth it.

I did part of it the day before and the rest yesterday. I'm okay standing as long as I don't have to walk a lot. My toe did okay, but I can tell I haven't been doing a lot for a while, I was totally exhausted by the time they went home. Dale's been good about waiting on me, but he's not too much help in the kitchen!
