I have seen this movie listed on different streaming apps and finally watched it yesterday. It had Denzel Washington in the lead role as Eli with Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis and Tom Waits in supporting roles. (Love it when Tom Waits does his short parts in some movies) It is a futurist post-apocalyptic action film about a man who is directed by a voice to take a mysterious book to a place on the West Coast of North America. He is skilled in combat and is continually reading this book and keeps it out of sight. A lot of violence but the mystery of the book kept me watching. The end of the story is rather obvious. He left the book with a dealer and the dealer is a bit miffed at finding it is not what he expected. (Won't ruin it here) I thought it was touching and I am not the least bit religious. It made me think of Fahrenheit 451. Love that book! Have you seen this movie?
