When I was a teacher of English, I occasionally gave my pupils photos I had found somewhere and told them to write a story for which the photo they had got could be an illustration. It was always a nice surprise to see how imaginative they were and how much they enjoyed that they could decide what to write and that they weren't told, for example, to interpret a quote of a book they had had to read or to discuss a famous saying. Now I'm retired and I can't do this any more. I wonder what kind of story my pupils would have come up with if I had shown them this photo. Maybe you can come up with one? I've found the photo on Pinterest with some strange comments. For example, "I love how the chick is just vibing with this, 10\10 best chicken in the universe." Vibing with 'this'? With what? Maybe I'm just too old to *vibe with* the users of social media.

It is a funny photo, even if I doubt that the chick is particularly enjoying being there. I am sure the poor thing does not appreciate those pink sunglasses.

I am not imaginative at all so I can’t even begin to come up with a story for this. That does sound fun how you did this with your students. I bet they enjoyed it far more then other assignments.
