What's for din?: Stick to your ribs food! (Now with picture!!)

I didn't really know what I would make for dinner until we got back from getting minnows for the turtle.
I knew I wanted to make homemade fully loaded mashed potatoes. But I didn't know what I wanted the actual main course to be. Then I decided to make something that we hadn't had in AGES.
So tonight we are having Salsbury steak and gravy, fully loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and garlic bread.
I might be going a little overkill with it, but at least no one will complain of being hungry later!
LOL. So what's for dinner at your house?

That sounds very good. I prepared my frozen meatballs, added spaghetti and sauce, and had Spaghetti and meatballs,

I'm not very hungry this evening, but I knew if I didn't eat I would get a headache. So, I had a bowl of the chili I made yesterday. I enjoyed it, so that's all that matters. Your meal looks like good old fashioned comfort food, my sons would both be on cloud 9!

What do you put in your chili? It has been too hot to make chilli here for months, but it is finally starting to get cooler so I will have to make a big old pot of chilli.

@MarieCoyle I dont like celery and the family doesn't do onions.
I do kidney, chili, red and black beans, hamburger meat and a can of rotel.

We are a family that dearly loves onions. I feel celery adds flavor to dishes, so I like to use it. Many people use celery salt and onion powder for flavor, that works too. But like I said, chili is a personal dish. Everyone has their methods and their favorite ingredients.

the only thing there was any leftovers other than some of the potatoes. But there is a almost full tray of brownies in there too.

@dodostrez I didn't say it wasn't enough food, I said it sounds bland. You only live once, you might as well have some spice in your life.
