Radish Chutney

October 12, 2022 5:36am CST
Hi mylotters, Today I wasn't feeling like cooking much. So just made Radish spicy chutney by grating it. By the end it turned out to be good. A tip:- Don't use more chillies(paparika) as radish already has some spicyness. Lesson learned What did you have for lunch?

Haha tqq it's an Indian dish. Some people in South India make it. Generally goes well with flat bread or rice.

@Rimps85 Peel the radishes, cut the edges, grate them and keep aside. Heat the pan, put 3 teaspoons of oil, curry leaves, uddi pappu, senaga bedalu, mustard seeds and fry them for 3 mins. Now put the grated radish and keep the flame in low or medium keep frying for 20 mins, let all the water in it dry out. Add some salt, chilli powder. Mix well again. Keep stirring it for 5 more mins and it's ready to serve. Garlic and red chillies are optional. If you choose to put it add along with mustard.

It is true that radishes already have some spiciness, not my favorite vegetable.
