what are call call centres ?

Call centres : a twenty first century invention, a boon or a bane............ what are they ???? Who are are the people who work in them , what is the work they do, what is the environment they live in ,what are dreams they dream, what are the hopes they have ? Do we know the answers to these questions before we consiign call centres to a place where it is very hot. I don't think so !!! Have we really thought about these very, very pertinent questions ?

Call Centres are actually the service providers for all types of services and all types of products. They are the service center to provide the customer satisfaction and increase the business.

Call centers are Jobs lost for Americans and other countries that require higher pay scales for their people. I got a Dell computer for christmas, when I called for support, I was shocked to be connected with a person in India. He could barely speak english, and couldn't even understand what I needed. I was apalled. We can do better than that.
