Did you know that Lady Gaga bought a Ghost Detector for $50K? State-of-the-art Electro Magnetic Field meters to detect ghosts, to be precise. Of course, you did. Because she bought it in 2010. But, since no one bothered to tell me about it until today, I'm stuck with telling you about this 12-year-old story today. Luckily, it is a very fascinating story. As far as it goes. My several minutes of exhaustive and quite strenuous research have uncovered only the barest number of facts. MS. Gaga was being annoyed by a Ghost named Ryan while on tour in Ireland. So she bought the Ghost Detector and at the same time hired some Psychics. It's unclear how exactly they got rid of Ryan but apparently, they did. Many other questions, as well, remain. Does the 50K Ghost Detector work or was it just the Psychics and Seances that did the eviction? Are there any other Ghosts, whether detected or undetected by the Ghost Detector, in this story? If so, are they friendly or at least less annoying than Ryan? For all we know, Lady Gaga could be hanging out with Jim Morrison and Mama Cass and many others, every night. And many others. Do you know what the part of this story is that frosts my pumpkin most of all? There are plenty of legitimate reasons to ridicule Lady Gaga but the $50K Ghost Detector is not one of them.
