I am sad because i cannot visit my mom

My mom who had stroke 2 years ago, when covid started. Hence, i could not visit her during lock down since i work overseas. I had not seen her for 2 and a half years.
I planned to visit her at the old folks home which my brother had put my mom under the special care. However need to make appoinment online which i did. It will be this weekend. I so looked forward to see my mom. My hubby had agreed to send me there but yesterday he scolded me over my landlord and work issues which he insisted i was wrong.. Now he refused to send me there.
Going to old folks home, i need to travel by car, public bus could not reach there. Now i cannot visit my mom , which dampened my mood to work and i feel devasted. I really missed my mom..

I am very sorry that your husband is keeping you from your Mom, especially now that she is in an old folk home. I am sure she misses you as much as you her.

I find it odd that you have to take permission from your husband to visit your mother.

That's very rude of him. Moms are always special and the other issues should not be mixed up with your meeting you.

Oh my gosh that is so wrong. Your mother is a very important part of your life. He is punishing you as if you were a child. He should want you to see your mother you never know what will happen and you may never get another chance to see her. I hope he comes to his senses and lets you go.
