How do you explain to your kids about where their xmas presents came from?

My kids believe in santa, write a list to him, and think that he delivers them but they also write thank you letters to relatives and friends after for their presents. What do you think we should tell them so santa and his elves are still believable but so they know that its grandma's etc that give presents?

Leave them to believe as long as you can that has always been my Believe as I found once they don't believe anymore it is just not the same anymore I used to love putting their presents under the tree and see their Faces light up when they realised that Santa had been but that goes once the believe is gone

You could tell them that certain gifts are from their grandparents and the others come from santa. But i guess they are going to find out soon there is no santa claus. YOu could also tell them that santa gives their lists to grandma, uncles etc so that they can receive everything on their lists.
