My boss was kind enough to drive me home when I expressed concern about walking home on this knee. She said that she will probably need me to work again next week, which is fine with me. I'm going to try to rest my knee this weekend, so won't be doing too much. I'm also tired from waking up this morning so ridiculously early. I hope I sleep in a bit tomorrow. I am thinking about going to get the mail, but I may leave that until tomorrow. I'm feeling the early hour that I woke up. Hope your morning/afternoon/evening/etc. has gone well in your part of myLot land !

I'm having problems with my right knee right now, it's been killing me, so I can empathize with what you're going through. I've had two surgeries on my right knee over the past 5 years, and I'm worried that there is now something wrong again that may require more surgery or even knee replacement. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is just hurting from overuse lately and not because something is wrong. I hope your knee feels better too!

@xstitcher I'm pretty sure I know what's going on with my knee, because I've experienced this before. On the outside part of the knee, there is a tendon, a muscle and a nerve that criss-cross each other right by the knee. I've always had issues with tight muscles, and sometimes when my leg muscles tighten too much it causes the tendon and/or the nerve to rub against the muscle. In the past, I've experienced the tendon rubbing against the muscle, causing pain from the friction. I think this time it's the nerve that's rubbing, because if I bend my knee to just about a 90 degree angle, it feels like fire. I mean it literally feels like someone is cooking my knee with a blowtorch. So I'm pretty sure that feeling is being caused by the nerve rubbing against the muscle. I just need to contact my orthopedic surgeon and have him email the stretches and exercises I need to do to loosen up that muscle.

You need ample rest to give your affected knee a rest too.
