Hello to everyone. It has been so long since I have been here. I hope stay here now. Life ... I have been living Life. I was online, saw one of my friends speak about myLot. Gracious, this special writing site has lasted many years. I am so happy to see that. Something so familiar, that was very important to me. I have lived a lot of Life since being here. I would like to be here now that I know you are here ... and live a lot more Life. I hope to meet up with old friends, make new friends. It would mean the world to me. It's nice to be back. Gloria. Note: I apologize for my photo placement ... I didn't mean to do that.

Welcome back! I've been off for a while; it has been a tough five years!! I think you read that my house burned down in 2017. I got to live with my boyfriend for 3 years (2017 to 2020). Then the complex I was in threw me out and I was homeless for 5 months and finally got an apartment in town. I also bought a motor scooter to replace my car, which burned in the fire. I was riding home last June and hit a rock and got dumped...I ended up with the scooter on my left ankle breaking it in three places with one of the breaks being a compound fracture that had to be surgically repaired. I am now hobbling around with my ankle hurting like crazy. I can't walk too far without the ankle hurting. I'd see the doctor except that he would lecture me about seeing the physical therapist. As I explained to the doctor, I saw I had gotten very ill and had been laid up for weeks. I sure didn't want to pass on what I had (I'm pretty sure it was pneumonia) and it is taking a while before I feel good enough to try PT. The one good thing is that I ended up in a great apartment complex and have some wonderful neighbors. But right now, I hurt like crazy because of having been on my ankle too much yesterday. I'm looking to going to bed tonight, hopefully I'll sleep through the night. Oh, don't worry about the photo placement. It's fun!

Toni, oh my ... Life threw some curves at you. I do understand how trying to overcome one obstacle after the other is ... it's tough. You have been through the wringer! I am so, so glad you are in a good place to live now, have good neighbors! Now ... you have to get that foot better so, you can live life fully. When Life is giving us one curve after the other ... time really flies by without us being truly aware of it. I thought about that yesterday ... when I realized my favorite writing site was still here. I was so happy to see that. Toni, thank you for stopping by, sharing your Life with me. I am hoping only good things touch your Life from now on! I look forward to hearing from you ... writing here ... hearing from everyone. You made my comeback so happy!
