Speak Up: Story

Forces to say these words can’t be battled. What keeps you moving? The strain isn’t any new term and observing others thrive is a routine. Seated in that confused room, miles of thoughts reckoning where you are flawed, and depression knocking like any other neighbor. For a long-time Charlie had been silent. What could have happened to my cheerful neighbor? Suzie asked. Chirping through the window although the aperture wouldn’t allow her to see through, at this time of the day he must be around besides the lights were on (a thought). Bumping the door couldn’t help and this kept Suzie restless. From a distance, she could hear whispers which made her think Charlie was connecting with the heavens (praying) so she took a deep breath and went on to finish up with house chores. Due to very busy weeks, and months, she thought all was well. Every end-of-semester exam Suzie and Charlie do share their challenges and how they plan to solve them. When life is smooth they do take a walk (day out) and even visit orphanages. Charlie is a kind-hearted neighbor. This time round Suzie decided to persuade him to open the door which he did. She asked him for a day out for she could read from his facial expression that all was not in good health. As a man, he tried to cheer up but the struggle from inside was bulky. Any burning issue? She asked. Mmh! Charlie cleared his throat...To Be Continued.

It would be good to let your readers know this is a story before you begin the story. Your title isn't a clue. Have you written more of this? Your starting point doesn't make sense. It left me feeling like - What's going on? Consider rewriting.
