My inbox is flooded today

Monday is my last working day in office. As mentioned in my earlier posts I am retiring from work. Many of my colleagues have sent me good luck messages and I have about 90 messages pending in my inbox that I have to reply (my organization has about 1200 employees out of which more than 200 know me personally). I am overwhelmed by the messages I have received. Tomorrow I need to go to office to handover my laptop, Office ID card and finish all the formalities needed. Next three days I may be spending most of my time on my laptop replying to the emails and messages that I receive. Am also looking forward to my retirement when I will get time to pursue my hobbies and have time for myself.

@mayka123 We're on the same boat. My previous co workers are also far from me, and have not seen them for almost 30 years but we communicate thru facebook.

@florelway We are lucky to have social media now to be in touch and not depend on the postman to deliver letters like it was happening 30 years ago.
