Now that I’m back from vacation it’s time to assault your senses with music countdowns again! 
While on the way to Ruby Falls I had all these songs going through my mind that have “Ruby” in the title. Do I have enough for a countdown, I thought?
Yes, I do.
So here we go with the songs for Dorothy’s slippers! 
An interesting note on Picky Wedia about our teaser song: Helen Reddy said that, when she came out of retirement in the early 2010s, she was never doing this song again, despite the fact that it was a worldwide hit for her (#1 in her native Australia and #3 in the US). She didn’t like the 4,308,648,109 “leave me alones” in it.
Imagine playing this and Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine” (with the 4,308,648,109 “I knows” in it) back to back! Someone would be calling the radio station and saying, “Hey, the record’s stuck!”
So on with the Ruby songs…and the explanation about a record being stuck for you kids.

Yeah, there’s a reason this song isn’t in the list. That’s taken with just the phone camera. Ruby Falls was well worth it.

There’s only about four times or so you can hear it before you start singing “leave me alone” as “shut the (dirty word of your choice) up!”
