A school resource officer who is employed at Swain West Elementary School in Bryson City North Carolina is being praised as a savior when on Wednesday morning he used his patrol car to stop a speeding pickup truck that was running the wrong way on a road at a rate of speed of around 100 miles per hour. The resource security officer who is P D Hampton joined his fellow police officers in pursuit of the speeding pickup truck that was driven by Reginald B McMahan run into Officer Hampton with a direct hit on his police car before his attempt to drive his pickup truck on the bus entrance at the elementary school by ramming his damaged police car into pickup truck to prevent student form being seriously injured by the driver who was arrested on the spot facing charges ranging from resisting arrest to endangering the lives of students. I will give Officer Hampton credit for risking his life by crashing his patrol car into a speeding truck head on.
