Reading suggestions?

Over the past year or so, I’ve decided to dive into biographies and autobiographies. I used to read about business philosophy a lot. I found that many of them are saying the same things, just in a different way. Instead, I’m reading about people who had a dream/vision/goal and trying to apply some of their tactics to my everyday life. Learning about real people and not just theory is important to me, and extremely fascinating. I like to read about people who took action, and didn’t just settle for what their current circumstances were. People who sacrificed everything to reach their full potential. People who, no matter what, never gave up. My goal for next year is 8 books. Doesn’t sound like an awful lot, but I have little free time on my hands. Feel free to share some suggestions!

I have not read many autobiographies. But I have enjoyed whatever little I have read. "I am Malala" was the last one that I read few years back.. it's good..I also enjoyed "The diary of young girl" by Anne Frank during my college days.

@arunima25 Growing up, I have always felt that. I loved fairy tales back then. Now, I am into all kinds of fiction...

I've been an avid reader all my life. I studied English and Russian lit at uni and had to read thousands of pages. For some reason (auto)biographies have never attracted me.

I am more into fiction. But, The Wings of Fire and An Autobiography of a Yogi are exceptions. These two autobiographies have fascinated me and changed my perception to a great deal!
