Ghosts - what are your opinions??

This post may get mixed reviews as there are many that believe in ghosts or spirits and then there are many that don’t.
I am looking for help for the ones that do.
Lately, almost every day for the last week or so, I have been seeing this spirit in my house. She is a tall slender woman with long white hair. I have talked to my mom and my uncle to try to find out who she is but they don’t seem to know. My mom wants me to go through some pictures to see if I can spot the lady but doesn’t remember where she put her old pictures.
As it is, this lady is a new ghost. One I’ve only seen since we moved into our house in August. Normally I would only see her once or twice a week but like I said this past week it’s been every day and yesterday she kept touching me / putting her hand on my shoulder but when I went to talk to her she would vanish.
I would appreciate any guidance or advice. And for those that are going to say I’m making it up or it’s all in my head, I’ve been seeing spirits for as long as I can remember. Many members of my family have seen spirits their whole lives.

I believe in ghosts and it happened that I have seen ghosts, so I believe what you are writing.
May be this women is not someone part of your family. She could have lived in that house and for some reasons, she is so attached to that house that she does not want to quit. I wonder what she needs.

The house I live in is one I lived in before about 20 years ago. It’s my dads house and I just bought it from him so I know the normal ghosts that are usually at the house. This one is completely new. If she’s not a family member of mine then she may be someone related to my dads wife (who hates my guts) so now I have to wonder what she is trying to tell me.

@LadyDuck I hope so too. She doesn’t feel violent. Maybe a bit confused but so far other than watching me, mostly in the kitchen, she hasn’t done anything and no one else in my house has seen her.

Wow, cannot believe somebody can write about encounters with apparitions in such a composed manner as if it is quite a normal event. It would have spooked me to such extent that I would run for any local shaman and would not be in a state to make a post about it.

It’s a regular occurrence for me. They don’t frighten me as I’ve seen spirits all of my life. I can’t communicate with most of them and about 90% were non-aggressive but I’m not the only one in my family that has been able to do this.
