Meals - 12/21/22

I hope all of you in the path of this brutally cold and s**wy storm are making preparations. If you don't have to travel, stay indoors and don't forget about bringing your pets inside. When they go out, limit the time outside and put sweaters and booties on them when you can.
3 days until Christmas!
89 days until spring...seems really far away today with this bad weather coming!
Breakfast - Apple cinnamon fruit and grain bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Pork loin, noodles, beets (yuck!), mixed veggies and peaches
Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee
Dinner - Chicken tenders and potato salad
What did you eat yesterday?

We're supposed to get some lake effect; but I don't think it will be much either. We shall see. Meals on Wheels already cancelled delivery for tomorrow.

We had Shrimp Alfredo last night and will finish it tonight. The Artctic blast hits here this evening. Mississippi is never prepared. We’re ready. If need be I still have my parents home and can go there. There is gas heat there. My sister has a cabin too with gas. We are total electric.

We have gas; but the fan runs on electric. If the power goes out, though, we have a standby generator.

I ran a couple of errands after work last night so it was quite nice that I had some chicken stew leftovers in the fridge that I could pop into the oven for our supper.
Tonight however, I will have to cook supper, the leftovers are all gone from what I could see.

@LindaOHio It turned out to be not so bad. I mean, it snowed and the winds were kicking up pretty good and visibility was low. But other than that I was still able to do around 65-70 the whole way.
BTW, forgot to mention I had a double Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder and fries from McDonald's. It was good.

3 Days before Christmas. We have fair weather so far. Yesterday, the sky was too dark but there was no rain.
Yes, should indoors would be safe.

I am planning on picking up some more things tomorrow and then staying in all Christmas with me and my cats. I had crispy chicken strips, rice, and gravy. The frozen strips are all right but I do not like it that they are too crispy. I hope you will see that jolly man in a red suit with his eight tiny reindeer of the roof of your house on Saturday,

Perfect picture for this cold and stormy winter day. Only 89 days til spring (yay)
Last night we had chicken (again) with baked potatoes and roasted cauliflower. I had a big piece of cake for dessert (I'm bad)

My leftover stewed vegetables and saimin noodles. Was a not bad combo. Yes, nasty weather news said too, indoors best. Hope weather gets mild and enjoyable!
