In Bali in Indonesia it is a summer year ending.

For the northern hemisphere people it is a winter christmas. For example in Calcutta it is winter with temperature around 11 degree celsius. But for people in Southern Hemisphere it is a summer christmas and year ending. In Bali in Indonesia it is summer. It is another case that the Pacific Ocean meets the Antarctic Ocean and the sea waters are always cold.
