Christmas Eve lunch

Do what to mark that this lunch time is different than yesterdays or the day before? Hubby said he could eat a pot pie. So I made each of us a little tuna pot pie today. I put in Alfredo white sauce over mashed potato, onion and green beans with the tuna. It turned out pretty tasty. Hubby managed to eat about a quarter of his pie. He also had a little dish of homemade applesauce. Happy Chirstmas Eve everyone! I wish there was a church near me that rang bells at midnight. I love those loud peals. I love its wild joy. Good cheer to everyone!

Good cheer to you! I used to live near a convent that rang its bells at 6am, noon, and 6pm every day. It fortunately did not ring bells at midnight.

@sallypup I can! That's actually a delicious looking pot pie. The filling sounds like a good combination too.

Merry Christmas to you and your hubby. We used to live in a quaint little rural village where the church bells rang every hour, at midnight on Christmas eve they rang louder and longer. It was such a nice thing about living out there.

Your tuna creation sounds interesting. My mom used to make home made applesauce. She was quite the cook and baker. Maybe you could find some bells online. Merry and a happy.

Your husband only ate 1/4 of this tiny pie? Not much but better than nothing.
