The jigsaw will get to my sister for Christmas after all

I wrote a while back about having a jigsaw made for my sister. We thought we had ordered it in plenty of time for Christmas but when we inquired about it we were told it wouldn’t arrive till December 29. So we drove up to my sister’s and had an enjoyable visit with her. She lives about an hour and a half from us. When we arrived home, there was an email to say the jigsaw could be picked up from the store. So that was a bit of a disappointment. However, one of her five sons has just picked up the jigsaw and will deliver it so it’s all turned out well after all. Shortly, we’ll leave for a niece’s house and will stay the night there. I’ll be back sometime on Boxing Day. Sending prayers and good wishes for all those myLotters experiencing such terrible weather in the US and Canada. The photo is mine of Hercules, our pet sheep.

We were disappointed to get home then to find that we could have delivered it after all. So it was really pleasing that her son could pick it up.

An interesting name for the sheep! You put in a lot of effort in taking the Jigsaw to your sister. Yes the folks in US and Canada do need a lot of prayers! Merry Christmas!!

@JudyEv Yes, the family and I spend every Christmas and New Years at Disney World. We've been doing that every year since my daughter was born 23 years ago. It's our home away from home. Usually we stay the entire time between Christmas and New Years, but my daughter had to work on Monday and Tuesday, so we came home after the weekend so she could work, and then we're going back to Disney on Wednesday and staying through next Monday.
