White Crap Tomorrow

Not happy to maybe get more of that. But at least we are supposed to get in the 20s f too. Then Wednesday it should start going away. After that the weather shows a nice long warm stretch
We didn't do much today. Hubbies football game came on later so I stayed in here and played on my phone and tablet. I do need to Bluetooth the tablet with my laptop so I can get the rest of my pictures. Will do that soon.
I finally seen Ghost cat this afternoon. She was holed up in the shed. She was the only one I hadn't seen since the storm came in. George was out all day. He was enjoying the sunshine. It was pretty.

I'm glad all the animals are accounted for now and George was enjoying the sunshine.
George called me this afternoon asking if I'd bring him some grain... I had to tell him the roads were still too slick for me to drive on... Can you just go get him some grain from your barn? He'll never know the difference.

I was very happy to see Ghost as her mommy passed away a couple of years ago. I don't want to lose that line as they are great hunters. I never know what I will see them catch. Pretty is from that line too but don't seem to be able to carry kittens full term.
George said he can wait until I can get in the pasture

@wolfgirl569 Did you get more white crap during the night? We got a dusting here and it started back up about 45 minutes ago... Small flakes now but the streets are already covered. I had an appointment to talk with the allergist tomorrow but I won't be able to drive in the snow. I called to reschedule the appointment but their phone says the line has been disconnected. I know that's not true but have no idea what to do about the appointment now. (I'm wondering if the lines are down somewhere between me and them.)
George told me you never give him anything good. Are you sure you can't go out and help a bud out?

@LadyDuck We have a 60s in te forecast next week. Bt I remember 70s one year about 30 years ago. I even got a sunburn

We have four consecutive days here in north Florida where our lows bottom out somewhere on the south end of the 20s. That's more than I can handle. But at least we don't have any snow. And sadly, in 2 days time it will be hot again here.

@wolfgirl569 We're finally seeing the warming trend we thought would never get here. It actually feels extremely nice outside right now. If the weather would just stay like it is now (high of 68, clear blue skies, no wind), I would be in heaven.

@wolfgirl569 That's good to hear. Hubs put out salt on the porch and stairs today. It melted that thick layer of ice so that the Meals on Wheels people don't fall!

We are currently having snow and black ice. I hope everyone stays safe, but we have had many accidents today due to people not driving carefully.

@MarieCoyle We had drifts that were to deep to get through. People tried. That slows the plowing down as they have to get the car moved before they can get through

I enjoyed my day at home working on getting the garbage cans on the sidewalk to be picked up by the garbage truck in the afternoon since Monday may or not be a day for the city officials to collect the garbage since Christmas fell on Sunday.

@wolfgirl569 yep, they are really nasty. The polar vortex is not so stable anymore, it doesn't stay at the Pole anymore. There will be more and more episodes like this one in the years to come.
