29 December - What I'm Thankful for Today / myLot

Today was a good day. I woke early, at midnight, and got up at 1:30. I did take a nap at 5 for an hour and a half. I'm thankful for the work I did on Love's Illusion. I don't know if I'll finish it this year as planned. I would need to work on it around the clock from now until the end of the year. That's not possible. But I'm making headway with it. I'm thankful for the time I spent with you today. It's always good to know how things are going in your world. I'm thankful for Canasta. We always have fun. The added bonus was that I won. That makes two weeks in a row. This time it was three-handed. No partners. It makes it hard to make a Canasta with three people, but it happens. My last hand I had three of them. That's my day and playing my games. It was good. I'm not thrilled with the weather. It got warm and the snow is melting. The only thing in the forecast is drizzle and fog. Oh well. Winter is just beginning. I'll get more snow before the season is over. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

I am thankful the local supermarket does not let their day-old baked goods go to waste. They bring them to my apartment complex every Thursday, and sometimes others when there is a holiday. This week, we got some on Tuesday and Today. I am also grateful for Henry (my cat). He has me playing chase and Hide And Go Seek with him all morning. It's a fun time for both of us.
