Is anyone else staying home doing nothing for the new years?
I have really never made plans for new years eve and at 43 I'm starting to think I have been missing out.
Instead of getting out I stay home and make appetizers for the kiddos. Some years I don't even make it till midnight.
What is everyone's plans for tonight to celebrate?

We're having a night much like yours. I'm doing a mini hot dog bar and taquitos for the family, and we'll watch the ball drop on TV.

I´m staying at home. It´s very dangerous outside and every year at this time, Lots of accidents occur. I will probably watch a movie and wish happy New Year online to my relatives. .

It is is very dangerous to go out on a night like tonight. Always a lot of people drinking and driving and it is really foggy out tonight which will make travel conditions even worse. Stay safe!

I am babysitting my two youngest grandchildren and we have been playing cars and singing songs. We have had the best time! My best friend is with me as well, time with her is so special as well. The grands all consider her a kind of special grandma as well and I am so glad!

That would be me! My husband and I are staying home. In a few minutes I am going to bed to read and then at midnight we will watch the ball drop in New Your City on his tablet. I think in today's world it is too dangerous to be out on the roads on new Year's Eve. Too many drunk drivers. Happy New year!
