My Son's Diet

It has been months that my son Cooper eats his dog food. I also tried to combine with two kinds of dog food. It seems my 5-month-old son wants a new diet because he sometimes had some leftover. I switched his diet by eating some boiled veggies, such as chayote, carrot, potato, etc. He loves them that much. It needs to randomly change his diet. Do you have any suggestions what to feed him?

Oh, what a handsome little man! All I know is to be careful changing their diet too often or it can make them sick.

I agree. My younger brother warned me about it. To be safe, I did not try slow-food leftover for him to eat.

@Shavkat Good! I'm glad your brother let you know. I don't want anything to happen to your son.

@DaddyEvil Thank you for the concern. I am still trying to find alternative food. My son is starting to be choosy with his dog food.

Dogs eat pretty much anything, some are a bit picky with the vegetables. I mean meat is obvious but wet can dog food mixed with dry dog food. I never seen a dog turn that down and absolutely love the combination. All of them every single dog and I have fed many dogs in my day.

@crossbones27 I agree. Since my mother left her earthly body, I have this little guy to serve as my companion every day now.

I am new how he behaves differently with the other dogs at home. The safest way is to give him boiled veggies. A friend of mine also suggested boiled eggs.

@Shavkat My granny gave eggs to her dog, it seems those are good for dogs and cats.

@LadyDuck I am planning to give him some eggs tomorrow. He started not to like chayote, so I need to keep on thinking what special diet for him.

I sometimes delay the usual feeding time so that he will be hungry and eat the usual dog food for him. Thank you.

Your son is primarily a carnivore so he needs meat to stay healthy. He is such a handsome little boy.

Such a cutie. I don’t know about baby dog diets but I’m guessing they’re like babies, human babies I mean so you should be careful what you give him

I don't normally like chihuahuas but Cooper is very cute. I hope others can suggest suitable foods for him.
