I hope you feel better quickly. While too much bread or sugar can cause problems eventually, as long as you don't gorge on them all the time, the damage will be minimal and far in the future for you.

I have celiac disease, so only a short amount can really mess me up. my body can't manage those alumunium and gluten in the wheat flour

@DaddyEvil you are lucky.. So many delicious foods contain gluten, I have to hold my temptation all the time. Sometimes I fail down.

Only a teaspoonful in a month is not a moderation. It is very less I think. But less certainly still bad for me

@LadyDuck age is really a matter too. The more we age the more we should avoid that sugar thing

@ifa225 OH YES! Unless you have diabetes, in that case even a teaspoonful is too much.

I cut on sugar and bread for a while. It helps to relieve health problems. At present, I ingest unrefined sugar (muscovado sugar). It has resulted healthier than refined sugar

That is good for you. I rare to add a teaspoonful of sugar in my coffee. I used to have black coffee without sugar. I think a teaspoonful would be okay to boost my energy level. But I think I was wrong

@ifa225 I add two small spoonfuls of sugar to coffee and I feel it adds to my energy levels. If I feel like I´m eating too much sugar then I´ll cut on sugar and drink pure drinking water

@quantum2020 nice tips, perhaps I have enough sugar from fruits and veggies. So even a teaspoonful is too much
