I have seen these days many Christian leaves their belief and turn in to atheist. Many moslem don't do what their religion taught to. They don't do that mandatory prayers anymore. Most of them just follow their lust and worship to money...

The important is not that people turn away from God. There are many reasons not to want to follow a religion anymore.

@LadyDuck some are so fanatics. What happened in Iran is going too far. Obligating would make people run from the religion itself

@ifa225 And it is true, look what is happening in Iran. Is a religion who obliges women to cover their body and face and kills those who do not a good religion? In my opinion the religion chief is worse than a dictator.

Money is the root of an evil and those who are not strong in faith are tempted by it. In fact, this has been happening for a long time and was only discovered recently.

@ifa225 I once met someone who invited us to gather somewhere he would also give us money if we wanted to attend a recitation and each meeting we were paid 100 thousand rupiah but because I or my family didn't want to attend and it seemed he was a bit disappointed with us and after I investigated it turned out he was a member of the terrorists. They are of course still looking for new members to follow their religion.

@May2k8 yes, some believers also take an advantage in natural disaster by giving a charity but asking to reverse believe for the requirement

I am not a pious person but I do firmly believe in God and His advocacy for peace and love. Rituals by other people may be not their preferences, but who am I to judge? I am not perfect myself,

That's sad that many people think that money is God. They can do anything to make money.
