2023 Health Journey - Plans for the Week Ahead

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Well I hope... It's getting late, so I thought I would share my health journey post for the day. Even though I haven't been good, I wanted to keep this going in hopes that I will get back on track tomorrow. I'll weigh in and everything tomorrow. Yes, I have had carbs for the past 4 days. I know I need to stop having so many carb days in a row. Maybe once a week would be okay. But I know when I do more than that I end up having to start over, especially on the scale. For the week ahead though: Try to do intermittent fasting most days (eating between 12 and 8 to start with) Eat as low carb as possible. Mostly meat, eggs, cheese, etc. Try to add working out back into the plan. I should have last week but I had no energy. The plans should not be that hard.... but I do struggle with wanting to eat just meats, eggs and cheese. We'll see how things go this week ahead. What do you think?

@MommyOfEli2013 So true, a plan means nothing. One day at a time and good luck.

I'm doing intermittent fasting too but I've choose 10-14. I didn't wanted to be too hard on me. It's going good. Also eat more veggies. I did cut down carbs but yes I ate carb twice during weekend "Guilty" As an endomorph it's hard for me to lose weight so I'm trying my best. I need to lost lots of weigh to get back in shape. I wish you all the best. Whatever you believe you can achieve

@MommyOfEli2013 it mean 10 hours are the eating hours then 14 hours are fasting hours. I struggle a lot. The issue is when I'm stress I eat junk food. I try my best not to be stress.

@BabeSays Oh that makes sense. Thought you were just eating from 10 to 2 lol Well fasting for 14 hours is still good. I am the same with stress and I don't know how to de-stress

Hi, Courtney! I'm not sure about intermittent fasting, but I personally think this will make you want to eat more. Perhaps you can try regulating your meals? Eating slowly works for me, and have a little bit of everything when I'm watching my weight, and when I think I already had too much for the week. Glad I came across your post, this reminds me to actually fulfill one of my to-do things: workout. I binged on pasta, pizza, chicken, and soda over the weekend. I think I had too much of it 'cos now, I'm too lazy to move! LOL! Can't say no to food when the entire family's gathered over the weekend. Welp, I guess I have to prep my workout clothes now.

Well my doctor even suggests intermittent fasting. And not make me want to eat more. Not sure what eating slowly is, or what you mean by regulating meals. Well if my posts remind one person of something, or help someone out in some way then that's good. Weekends are like that sometimes though, with the carbs.

@MommyOfEli2013 Oh, that's good to know. A lot of people I know just went on intermittent fasting without consulting a professional which gave them the opposite effect. I hope this works well for you. Making a journal of your progress might help, maybe?

@jainaproudmoore Well I am not doing it with professional help lol, but I have researched this stuff for years. These posts are my journal lol
