Still Tired

She has been up and played and ate. Just not needing to bounce all over like usual. I hope to tire her out tomorrow also if it warms up like it's supposed to.
Chores were very easy tonight. I just needed to shut the barn door as I left it open this morning. Then made sure the cats had water and gave them a little more food. Usually I don't give them food at night. But with the extreme cold we had I have gave them extra the last few nights. George was eating his hay as I went out so he was easy to check on.
Placed an order for blackout insulated curtains tonight. They should be here by Friday. They should help keep this big room warmer than what I have up right now. I also ordered a new toy for Patch. It is a hide and seek toy. She should love it.
We got to 40F today. Hopefully we get even warmer tomorrow. I am loving this week. Hope you had a good day.

I am sure I will. I am thinking about slowly buying enough for the 2 outside walls of this room. That would be cheaper than trying to get insulation into the block walls and prettier

Animals at times are very playful. My puppy too at times runs about the whole house and it's hard to control him.

Most of the snow and ice are gone now. I'm VERY happy about that!
My eyes are swelling up again and hurting if I read on myLot for very long at a time, though. The new drops aren't helping at all. Pretty says we'll finish the sample bottle and see if the drops are helping by the time we see the doctor again in a couple of weeks. (The new drops make my eyes water all the time. I don't like that.)
We reached 51F today and are supposed to hit that temp again tomorrow. But we also have a chance of rain tomorrow, too.
Blackout curtains are great! We have used them in our last house and have them up in this house, too. We like it darker in the house so that works fine for us. They also help with insulating older style windows.

Glad all that is gone. Valerie is sad as she will be losing hers too
Sorry the drops are not helping. Watering eyes are not good either.
We have possible rain in a couple of days. Of course those are the warmest ones.
I like my natural light but there isn't much of that this time of year anyways. But I happily trade that for being warm.
