Now at your age, what is making you happy?

Yesterday we had an online class. My professor asked some of my classmates what is making them happy at their age. After the class, I realized that these past few days, I don't really know the things that are making me truly happy at my age. All I know is that I am currently happy and content with what I have now. I am happy with my small circle of friends, with my family, and with being able to do what I want to do. Now, I am still thinking about the answer to my professor's question. How about you? at your age, what is making you happy?

I am happy with the friends I have, the foods I eat and the books I read. My daughter usually makes me happy, too.

@mnglsp I totally understand about "most of the time". Yes, you're right.

I always hear from my parents that we, their daughters are their bundle of joy ( well, most of the time a headache) hahaha. Good to hear that. Being able to do what we want to do, even the smallest things, can make us feel happy.

I know that healthy can make me happier than money now. When I was young, I run to money like crazy, I never think how my health can be bad because of it

@mnglsp so true, money without healthy means nothing. I know a rich man who can afford to buy delicious food, but the doctor said he can only eat porridge with less salt and sugar

@ifa225 Hearing this made me appreciate more whatever we afford now, as long as we have a healthy body.

Someone told me, that being healthy can help a lot for you to have money. He said that you can't earn money if you can't do something because you are not healthy. That is why, I understand what you want to say, and I am glad to hear that you realized something that is important.

At least 8 hours of sleep and a good cup of coffee when I wake up.

I will be happy too if I could get an eight-hour of sleep too, and a cup of coffee once I wake up.

Well they say that everytime you wake up you should be happy, but for me what makes me happy is when I get to travel, spend time with family and friends in an unfamiliar zond . It eases my mind and also when I write it makes me feel good.

Do you believe in a saying that a man can survive being at home, just give him/her food, paper, and a pen? I just remember that because you said you are happy when you write.

I am happy to be with my husband, to see the sun shining, to go out for a long walk in the nature. All those things make me happy.

My mom was right. Being with someone who you truly love is an everyday blessing. Also, every time we wake up is a blessing and it is indeed something to be grateful for.

Happy with whatever condition of us. With our achievement, with our results of our work. And thank God about this

Yes! In highs or lows, never forget to be grateful. Because with God, everything happens (even the bad ones) happens according to what will make us wiser, or in a good condition in the end.

I'm happy and grateful for being at the stage of my life that I don't have a work boss dictating what I do with my time. I am grateful that I have a life partner that is still my love. I am grateful that I ended up moving to a town that has a warm water pool for me to exercise in- that keeps me out of a wheelchair. Good question. I am also graterful for the animals that I share life with.

I can hear from your words that you really are happy and grateful for what you have. I am happy to know that a lot of people like you still appreciate those people even animals ( they are family members too) with you. We are lucky to have some to be with.
