I received a message from Dixie´s youngest daughter (Camila) that she´d visit me today. And while I´m not sure if I have too many nice things to give her I did ask for cheese and avocado just in case she comes at tea time. I messaged her back at wee hours that if she wanted to come for lunch I have minestrone. But her message was blurry as to at what time she´d come because she had been recording all day and was very tired. Camila is the musician of Dixie´s and Humberto´s family. She studied at the conservatory but went on to try a kind of music that mixes Latin folk music with jazz and pop. She now writes her own work. She has travelled around South America and even Europe but she will never be rich But last year, Daddy dear with her mother´s consent, sort of gave all their children a big part of their inheritance. Camila now has a big old house that she rents and lives with her daughter and a roomie in a smaller place that she can pay. This is one of the songs where she is both the author and the singer. Of all children of my adopted family she is my favorite because many years ago I took her for a holiday to Brazil and we got along beautifully.
