I think a Married a monster

I recently purchased 12 jars of blueberry jam, and I'm thrilled to have such a full cupboard of food. Recently, however, my wife has taken up a undesirable hobby: spooning out a spoonful from a jar and then placing it in the fridge. Day after day, the same action is repeated and I now see four to five opened jars in the fridge. It's almost as if the first bite is the only one that interests her. I want to tell her that each jar should be finished before a new one is opened, I must have a conversation with her about this issue. I just don't how to say it without hurting her feelings. She also do that to the icecream cups in the freezer. She also uses bars of soap once then throws it away.

This is the first time I´ve heard of this illness. You must talk to her.

@CaptAlbertWhisker There must be a reason then. Ask her why she does it.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Maybe she's pregnant and this quirk will eventually pass. Hopefully, she doesn't crave hard-to-find food/drink.

Perhaps the cure to her doing that might be to restrict how much money she gets for her private stuff by telling her that by wasting food as she does is going to come out of whatever money she has. Some women will respond to stuff like that. I just find it hard to believe a woman would do something like that

Maybe you shouldn't put so many jars in the side your refrigerator. I see no problem with it and actually I agree with her on the bar of soap and throw it away. Soap bars have more bacteria on it then a bottle of soap does. I see no issue with a spoonful of something at least its going back inside to stay cold. This is more of a personal issue with yourself then as a couple.

I am considering to hide them somewhere she cannot find so she will finish the ones in the fridge

@ShyBear88 Yeah I might buy a large wholesale jar instead.

@CaptAlbertWhisker The answer is easy don't make little ones maybe one big one so that way only the one gets used till it's gone problem solved.

You need to talk to her, do not be aggressive, just ask her WHY does she do this all the time.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Is she pregnant right now? I think that you must "HIDE" all the new jars so that she cannot continue to do what she is doing.

I hid all the unopened jars, and ask her to finish all the jars in the fridge first.
