Hope everyone has a good weekend. Nothing much going on today. Hubs checked the basement...so far, so good. We are going to get pizza and Chinese today. Meals on Wheels is closed Monday for President's Day. This will give us extra food; and besides, I had a taste for both!!!
32 days until spring!
Breakfast - Peanut butter biscuit
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes, broccoli and grapes
Dessert/Snack - Cinnamon muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Oatmeal square

Pizza and Chinese both sound good to me!
Uhm... I ate chicken, cheese and broccoli soup for breakfast, some leftover chicken and noodles for lunch and a turkey and cheese sandwich for supper.

@LindaOHio I remember that one year,while I was visiting there, I needed to cash a traveler check and discovered that the banks were closed.

Yes it's a holiday for the schools and all Federal employees too. Everyone else is working.

Spring is getting closer at least. Hope you enjoy those foods. They are closed here too, my grandparents get food from them. Interested to see what they get Tuesday, the menu says pancakes and liver. Not a normal combo there

@LindaOHio Liver, yes....but with pancakes? Yes, I do like liver. To make it taste good, bread it in flour and fry it. Yum!

I went to Chuy’s with my sis-in-law yesterday. We chatted so much that I only ate half my chicken taco salad, so I had the other half of it for dinner.

With Meals on Wheels here in Lake County you can get the meals for free if you can't pay for them. Do they not have that program there?

@DianneN Yum. I love to add all kinds of stuff - broccoli, garbanzo beans, olives, cheese, sunflower seeds....it turns into a major meal.

I guess if you can't decide, getting both also works, and there's nothing wrong with having some extra for later. Good decision.
Now, as for dinner, are you sitting down? Because I don't want you to fall over or anything.
I made braised pork and had some Mexican beans on the side. lol

I think we had chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes and asparagus last night. I am pretty much out of it as far as food and chores since I have been sick.

The pizza was delicious. I took a chance and tried something new. Empress Chicken. I won't be getting that again. I also have an Orange Chicken which is my favorite.
