Well, it has been almost a year, since the rock in the road of a wonderful marriage. We have since talked and found out our problems and discussed them. Now, we are on the road to fixing them all. I'm not saying it is easy but one step at a time. One thing is she no longer works at his job or see's him or talks to him at all. She lives a few town's over last I heard. She found her a new mark at work and got fired for missing to much work. My husband now treats me way better and we talk so much more. We even have a card night with friends of his every Saturday. We laugh and it's life a facelift on our marriage. I am kind of glad that it did happen because it was a wake up call for both of us on how unhappy we were and how we were just going through the motions. I know that sounds crazy, and maybe it is but it's how I feel. what do you think? Am I crazy? Or, do you think some relationship stay happy all the time? Or, do the light's fade and you just get use to the routine and go on autopilot? What do you think? Let me know have you ever had this happen to you? What did you do? Make life happy, don't sit around waiting for it to make you happy...

No, you're not crazy, although that never happened to my marriage. I'm happy you have talked and are working out your problems together. I wish you nothing but happiness. I think you've both had a loud wake up call.

It’s sad this happened and I hope that it never does again. I hope you two can remain closer as you have come to be again. I am glad the tempting woman at work his no longer there and hope if another beautiful younger woman comes around they he remembers how it almost ruined his marriage.

@Carpathian confiding and getting close to someone of another gender we are around is never a good idea when we are married. I’m glad a year has passed and things are well.

Funny thing she was not even pretty. She looked like one of the guys. That is why he was attracted to her. And, he said she was someone that he could talk to and she was his trainee. Well, she is gone and he knows if he has problems to talk to me or even our son (who is 28). But, not another woman. So, we can only see what happens in the future by waiting. But, it's been a year and so far so good. And, we talk a lot more.

Hey whatever works for you..if you are both happy then so be it. I had no complications in marriages, I just left when things got bad. And never went back. Ever.

Wow, sorry to hear that. Was it good in the beginning? How long were you married for? And, did you two meet other people and that is why you left? Just wondering... Be happy!

That's sad but I'm glad you two are working things out. I've been more than fortunate when it comes to love. My wake up call started last Autumn. My husband got sick and stayed sick and here we are. I think he is better but for sure not his old self. I am grateful he is still with me and for sure he is not taken for granted.

Did your husband cheat on you with this woman at work? That would be hard to forgive.

Not really, they talked at work and flirted on the phone. But, more talking about cars, trucks, tools and motors. He just found someone that was a woman that he could talk shop with. But, after a while he realized that she did not know as much as she let on and that she was trying to make it more. He thought it was cute for awhile but saw how hurt I was so he stopped. And, the fact I gave him a choice her or me. She lives in another town and has another job now.
