Meals - 2/22/23

Today I plan on going to the DMV to get my new license. Hubs said he's going to get his too. This new ID will allow us to fly domestically and enter a Federal building. We had some ice yesterday; and the power went out for a while. We also had a TV/internet/phone outage for a while. During the power outage our standby generator came on. It went off without a hitch; so the new switch is working perfectly. Today will be VERY warm. The ice has already melted.
26 days until spring.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Fish sandwich, potato wedges, scalloped apples and apricots
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Piece of pizza

Nothing going on here... I need to make several phone calls after 8 am but I took care of the most important one yesterday. I let the endocrinologist know that I started taking the meds for hyperthyroidism again. (He'd told me to try stopping it and see if I felt okay but if I didn't, to let him know I was taking it again. I didn't even last a week without it.)
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, two slices of bacon, chicken and Ranch pizza for lunch and ate three boiled eggs with steamed broccoli for supper.

@DianneN Yes! I worry that if he should pass, God forbid, I would be stuck in the house with no power or heat during an ice storm for several days.

Although we did not lose power yesterday we had a sloppy weather day of freezing rain and snow.
We had leftovers for supper last night, my hubs finished off the chicken stew while I had the last of the panzerotti that I could not finish that we ordered earlier this week.

Well you are lucky that it is warm there today. We are only in the 20's right now. But no snow so far...though the sky is white like it could. A fish sandwhich can be good...and potato wedges? yum...

@LindaOHio Yup. But I guess I have to keep eating chocolate once every month because that's the only way for me to stay my anxiety in check. I don't want to depend on vitamins or medicines because it is not good for kidney.

More mashed, chicken nuggets, and gravy. Ever since the pandemic started I never got to get my Florida ID. I still have a valid US passport and use that when needed.
