First Camp of 2023 is Booked

So, we have the first camp with the camper booked for 2023 and we are really looking forward to it.
We will camp with my dad and step mother in Cape Girardeau, MO on the 28th and 20th of April, leaving on the 30th. It should be a lot of fun.
The only caveat is that we have to also dewinterize the camper on this trip, so there may be some roughing it to happen. But it is what it is.
The campsite there actually looks pretty nice, so it should be a really good time and a lot of fun. As I have said before, this year will be the real first year with the camper and will be what tells us how much we really like the experience.
Onward and upward is all I can say for now.

@porwest Yeah having picture perfect weather is ideal for camping. Did my fair share as a kid.

@kaylachan When we camped as kids we did it in tents. I could never do that now.

By the time you take your first camping trip, I’ll already be four camping trips into the year! Lol
Seriously though, I know you’re really looking forward to it, so I hope you have a great time and everything goes smoothly. We wouldn’t want you to give up on camping after your first trip of the year.

Dewinterize. Or, on other words, get all the antifreeze out and set the levers back to use mode. We actually wound up doing it in our driveway. But in 2024 we are planning a trip where it will just be the wife and I and we will do it there. That way we can dump right away.
