I picked my grandma up from the hospital today around 11.
First thing she told me was that she didn't feel any better than when she went in.
Thinking part of what caused the sodium issue was the happy pills she was prescribed a couple days before. So no more happy pills...
Just hope she'll start actually feeling better soon.
That's what I have to share for now

That's a good point. You could be right there! I know with my blood pressure meds it causes lower sodium. Drinking more fluids helps to combat these side effects.

@dgobucks226 I hadn't heard of blood pressure meds doing that. I know they lower blood pressure but not the overall sodium. Drinking more fluids would wash out more sodium and other electrolytes though...

Oh, I don't really know...
I think low sodium happens more when you drink too much water/liquid.

Sodium is in processed products as well. Good to hear she was let out of the hospital.

@FayeHazel My grandfather who is not in good health himself. He probably needs to go somewhere he can be helped 24/7 but I know neither of them want that

Bit worrying that she said she didn't feel any better now than when she went in.

@JimBo452020 He slept most of the day. Ate meals in bed. Didn't get up much to walk around either.

Yes, that is true. They couldn't put her on a different one because it is not good if you are on blood thinner. Now this one will make you lose sodium.
