January 6th Hearings New Revelations- Were American Citizens Deceived?

Most (if not all) of the House hearings on the January 6th protests centered on showing violent scenes at the Capitol, with windows being broken and people rushing through police roadblocks. Like many who watched the hearings and news coverage I was appalled to see the destruction of property, especially at our nation's capital. I heard on the news about this being a deadly insurrection, with 5 policemen killed, people trying to overthrow the government, and the event being worse than the 9-11 attacks on our country. Some in the media went so far as to equate it to our nation's Civil War. After hearing this side of the story how one could not condemn all the people who entered into the Capitol on this day, brandishing guns and threatening to kill our elected leaders. It seemed like a slam dunk...all these people are criminals, committed treason, and should be locked away for a long time in prison. Then the twitter files and more footage were released, and as the saying goes, there are always two sides to every story. As I started to hear about and see more video footage of what went on in the Capitol building on that day, I realized this administration was hiding something from me and the rest of the public. As disturbing as that day was, what was more disturbing was the exaggerated lies that were told by the House committee, the withholding of relevant information to the public, and the mainstream media's coverup and complicity in keeping other facts hidden from Americans. So, I came away with many questions (which I will list below), which makes this hearing more of a show trial reminiscent of the Soviet Union, where the accused are guilty before all the evidence has been submitted. Can anyone provide a logical explanation for these omitted facts? 1. Why was this fellow Ray Epps not arrested for orchestrating people to enter the Capitol? He was seen on video tape urging and inciting people to storm the Capitol building. He even lied to investigators under oath saying he left the area immediately, yet video showed him still there one-half hour later. 2. Why did Democratic congressional members like Pelosi and our Attorney General claim 5 police were killed in the Capitol building by protestors? Why did anchors at CNN (for one) repeat this without the actual facts? Seems to me this lie was used to make this protest seem like a "deadly insurrection." The only actual person killed in the violence on that day was by a policeman, an unarmed vet named Ashley Babbit. 3. Why was the security not more substantial? Why was National Guard assistance refused by Pelosi and the Democratic Mayor of Washington D.C.? Intelligence made it clear that the crowd would be huge on that day. Yet, the offer was refused, and police were overwhelmed by the crowd! And this request came from Capitol police!!! 4. Why have people who protested peacefully that day, with a legal permit, and did not enter the Capitol, arrested and held without bail? Why have other people who did enter the Capitol, but caused no violence (unless you call taking pictures violent), still in jail, many for 2 years now? Does not our justice system require due process when convicted of a crime, a speedy trial, and the assumption of being innocent until proven guilty? 5. Why will this administration not release all of the video for public viewing? Will Schumer and other Democrats be caught in lies about how they depicted January 6th? From the recent video that has been released there are definitely some who are violent and destructive, and they should be prosecuted for their crimes. But other folks are just peacefully milling around, not attacking anything, some even being led around the Capitol like tourists by the police. Other than entering the Capitol without permission what serious crimes have these people committed? In closing, I did have my suspicions about the media coverage and the Democratic house one-sided depiction of the January 6th events. Now I am certain U.S citizens have been duped by lying and exaggeration on the part of the Democrats for political gain!
