Many of you know I'm a writer and I write books. My current book that I'm writing (WIP) is a grief paranormal adult shifter romance. Yes, that is its placement in the genre. My female main character is grieving from the loss of her first mate. The story starts with her actually watching him slowly die. Now she finds herself a year later, with two male shifters that find her as there second possible mate. (This world works around possible mates so that way it feels more like real live for readers.) She has this emotional tug-a-war going on inside of her. Partner of her wants to move on, doesn't want to feel pain, or loneliness anymore. She doesn't feel she can let her pain out with anymore. The other partner of her wants to give these two new possible mates her pain. Let them carry it for her a bit and let her grieve in her own time even though their mate bonds might be screaming at them otherwise they don't want her to rush. Her letting them take some of pain for her brings here a little comfort and piece.

Wow, that sounds like a great book. What was your inspiration?

for writing I didn't have inspiration for it, its part of a series I'm writing book. Book 1 isn't sad but follows 5 characters and the female lead is just unsure of what she wants its the same shifter universe. Book 3 is based off of self-worth. I try to give my books themes so this way they have a touch of something people can understand or follow to have a connection. Grife it's self I didn't have to dig far for. I used the biggest grift I felt to write how it feels. I've never lost my husband he is of course very much a live but we both went through the same pain and lost.

@leighnyork I'd say I'm still a baby writer/author. It's easier to write emotions you know or have felt its harder to write a feeling or emotion that you haven't felt before. Grief is an easy one for many people to know and feel even if they have never been in that same spot its one that everyone can empathize with.

Yes it will be published looking for around the end of June I'm not done writing but if you want to get a feeling for the world there is on amazon and kindle which I'm published through "When the Wolf Knox" by Celeste Haas. "Knotty Mate" Davis Brothers series is being released March 30th on amazon and Kindle. Kindle has a preorder right now for it. Same author name Celeste Haas. The third book I'm aiming for August. So far for "Their Paralyzed Mate" Davis Brothers series book 2. I'm writing Chapter 6 and things are heating up in the steamy/spicy area but also getting to the plot twist I have planned out.
