John Leschinsky who is a graduate from Virginia Tech University Class of 1997 was playing volleyball on Eggleston Quad on the campus in the sand section of the volleyball court when John took off his class ring as well as his sandals, watch and shirt by a post when he went to play volleyball. When John returned to pick up his clothes, he noticed that his class ring that he purchased went missing. John believes that someone stole his class ring. Fast forward to January 2023 when a construction crew working on the volleyball court on improving drainage when construction worker Pat Saylor saw a shining object in the dirt. Pat saw the name of the owner of the class ring which is John Leschinsky. Pat then looked up John's name on social media. When Pat was able to locate where John lives which is in North Carolina. Pat sent the missing class ring via mail to John who is grateful that his lost class ring is being returned to him. Link is upi.com/7571679597404 via @upi

It's nice that Pat was able to locate John and send him his ring back. Many people wouldn't have bothered.
