California poppies are our state flower.

The state flower of California is the California poppy. They are a wildflower that is usually orange, but can be yellow, red and other colors. They bloom now, and due to the wet weather we had you may see superblo9ms of this beautiful wildflower. Have you seen this flower? What is your state flower

Yes, we saw poppies in bloom when we were on vacation in California years ago. They're very pretty.
The Missouri state flower is the hawthorn and I don't consider it very pretty.

@Aquitaine24 Not on this new laptop. I can't figure out how to share folders from my old laptop to the new one. Always before, I could plug a USB drive into the old one and copy folders onto it and then plug it into the new laptop. But this laptop is too stupid to show me what's plugged into a USB port.

Haven't seen this flower aside from those in photos.
They do look lovely in the photo and for sure they look lovelier in real life.

@Jenaisle I guess they are of the poppy family, but not a close relative to the opium poppy.

These are actually a different type of flower. I am not sure they are true poppies.

Yes I have seen them in life.
I have and here for Colorado it is the Blue Columbine flower.
