My garden mangoes ransacked by slum dwellers

My mango tree is laden with mangoes this year. As the tree is bearing fruit since three years it's growing too according to the fruit load. Presently the tree has grown tall and the slum dwellers from a distance can view it. I have no peace as everyday the slum boys and girls get into my garden the moment I close the window towards the garden because of the strong Sun rays. The have stolen a lot of my mangoes. I therefore decided to pluck all the raw mangoes that were reachable by hand or by a wooden hook. The thieves had brought their own hook which they left in my garden when I caught. My maid used the same hook to pluck the raw mangoes. I kept some as I can't use them all. Therefore I asked my maid to take them. The use three raw mangoes to make some sweet chutney and am planning to use the rest to make "aam panna" a summer sweet drink that would keep me cool. Those place too high are kept to ripe.

This isn't something unusual. I was spared last year as the slum dwellers couldn't see my mango tree which hadn't grown that tall but others in my did have to tolerate their nonsense.

Sorry for what happened. I think the mangoes are still not fully matured for the picking. They should have nicely asked if they were truly hungry and nothing to eat. I guess you could have some to spare?

These slum dwellers are lazy. They want to earn money without working therefore they steal everything from food to valuables.

You are blessed with abundance.. If I have a lot of fruits, I'll give the poor hungry children some.. I will talk to them and tell them to ask permission if they want some.. so they don't have to steal..

Here the slum dwellers aren't satisfied with a few mangoes. Each of them the whole harvest which is impossible.

Why do they have to steal? If they asked you nicely, would you give them some?

There are about three slums around our residential colony and they steal, rarely do they ask permission as each one wants all of them.

I really get irritated with these slum dwellers. They think stealing is their birth right. Thanks for your compliment.

It's a shame the slum dwellers think it is okay to steal your mangoes.

It was indeed very annoying and irritating as I had run towards the garden several times.
