Dear lotters, there more I see of my house, the more I discover that something else has to be done. The list gets bigger. I am not going to order any elegant shelves or the like. I decided (in spite of what my grandchildren say) to sell it and move on. Dealing with tenants can be terrible and I don´t have time to do it. And my house is worth not so much for what the house is but for the neighborhood. The price of the land here has gone UP!. My next door neighbors bought my mother´s house a few years ago. It was beautiful and my parents had enough money to make it with special windows and doors. When the neighbors came, they threw all that out. They rebuilt a box like house according to new tendencies. They even threw away the beautiful fountain in the middle of the garden. It was made by hand with pink stone. My house has nothing that anyone would want. It is the land where it is that has to be sold. And I´ll do it. So I´ll clean the kichen, paint it and maybe pain the rest of the house. I have received here ideas of a paint that masks odors to use as a first coat. But first I have to get someone to do the job. See you later.
