I need more weekend

I feel like we need a third day in the weekend, because I do not stay home Sunday, and if I go out with Jane it most usually is Saturday.
So I never have a day to just chill at home.
Today Jane and I visited, and then I stopped by two thrift shops. All I spent was small change.
I just assembled a new shelf for my bathroom, to store the towels. It arrived Thursday, I think.
We are eating various left overs today. I hope to put together a meat loaf tomorrow, so we have something yummy all week.
The wind is blowing. Rain has been falling, accompanied by thunder, lightning, wind, rain and cool temperatures. So there was no outside time today.
I hope you are having an excellent day today. It is Saturday afternoon in my part of the woods.

My weekends always blend in with my weekdays. I always seems like Monday comes and then I am on a boat on a fast flowing river just going downstream,

I will not complain if it rains. We drove around a couple of lakes today and I saw how far the water was down.

The weekends were never long enough when I was working. Now that I'm retired, the days just whiz by.
