The Shirt I Made.

And I did not stop at the pants. I think I made one other pants for my daughter. I am still looking for the photo. This is another creation of mine. Created without actual numeric measurement but just a shirt that almost looks the same. Maybe I should learn how to make patterns. I think my eyes is not as it used to be to sew.

You did a good job with that shirt...I was a self-employed designer, dressmaker and tailor for more than 30 years.. It is best feeling to wear your own designed and made outfit..

@rakski - Cotton is surely easier to sew than some synthetic fibers.

Mom used to make a lot of our clothes when I was a kid but as I got older, she couldn't see to thread the needles anymore so she stopped sewing and we bought clothes.

Years ago, you could buy a book of patterns and draft your own from the diagrams. And you could always buy a paper pattern.

wow it looks so good , my mom is very good at sewing but she said it is very difficult to make clothes because you have to have a pattern for the clothes you prove that without the right pattern you can still make clothes

@rakski My mother used to occasionally sew clothing, without using a pattern. She was good at this, too.
