I was just told that a pregnant coworker has lost her baby. It was her first and she was 7 and 1/2 months pregnant. She just had her baby shower like 2 weeks ago. I am so upset for her. No one here knows the details (nor are we entitled to them) but at 7.5 months the baby should have been viable if it was born alive. How terrible.

Aye. Terrible. I really do feel for her and her family. Have a bit of first hand experience with this kind of loss

I’m so sorry for her. I have a friend who had two miscarriages (not that late in gestation though), and I don’t think we understand the trauma. In fact, I was reading about the new Night Court and saw an article about Melissa Rauch discussing how traumatic her miscarriage was.

That is tragic. I have a friend who just lost her baby. They are devastated. It was a much-wanted baby. I feel so bad for her and others who experienced it.

It's tragic, but until the child is born, literally anything can go wrong.
