If it is storming

Do you shower if it is storming? I have, but tonight I will not press my luck. We have thunder, lightning, and hail. Rain also. We need the moisture. School says that I can come back to work once I am taking medicine. I am, so I will go work tomorrow. I am out of sick days. Guess I will get that shower in the morning. Have a good night, everyone. Stay out of the rain.

I shower whenever I need one and ignore the weather outside. I'm glad you're allowed to go back to work tomorrow. I hope you feel better soon, too. It's been sprinkling here off and on all day. The forecast says storms during the night for us.

This spring just seems to not be warming up at all.

@GardenGerty I agree... It still feels cooler than "normal" to me.

Sometimes I shower during a storm sometimes I don’t. Usually I don’t because of the power goes out I have less than 30 seconds to get all the soap and shampoo off me before the well water stops flowing. One time when that happened I used water from the dehumidifier to rinse my hair out and it smelled so bad I cried. I then went across the street to my moms to shower. I think I’ve only showered at her house maybe 3 times in the last 20 years.

That is another good reason. Does your power go out often?

Pipes and water conduct electricity and supposedly you can get shocked.

I don't like taking showers anyway but I wouldn't even risk a bath during a storm. You never know when a flying toaster might land in the bath.

Had not thought of that. I just had heard that electricity will travel down the pipes.

Never really thought about that. I guess we don't have storms that often so the problem doesn't really come up.

Storms, thunder and lightning are pretty common here.

I probably wouldn't shower if it were storming but one of the reasons would be that I'd be afraid the power would go off.

No, I don't shower during a storm. You are supposed to stay away from the pipes. Hope you are feeling better.

Sometimes I think I will never feel better. I got my shower in when the storms were no longer with us.
