I bought some groceries, friends. Not too many. I will make a sort of casserole with meat I have in the freezer. I bought an eggplant, have potatoes, carrots and onion and pieces of green and red sweet pepper that have seen better days. I´m sure that that will be enough to make a sort of stew that I can eat with the rice I still have. And for dessert, of course, some cake. I could even add, when it is almost ready, some whole tender green beans. I love them. And they will add the touch of class to the dish. But that will be for dinner. Now my tummy is full of cake. And before the groceries arrived, I cooked some corn kernels that I ate with butter while watching TV Dixie has been sending me pictures.
